Among Cochran's extensive work on behalf of the military were recent
appearances at schools on behalf of "America's Huey 091 Education
Foundation" which focuses on teaching students about history and
citizenship. Speaking to students, Cochran stressed that our freedoms are
precious and should never be taken for granted. He also spoke about the loss
of his friend and fellow Marine, Corporal Ron Payne, during combat in
Afghanistan. In addition to "Friday Night Fireside," his fast-rising debut
single and video, Cochran's debut album features the moving ballad "When a
Hero Falls," dedicated to his fallen friend and all those who pay the
ultimate price for our freedoms.Click here to read more
